本展は、けんちくセンターCoAKの室内をデザインした建築家・木村俊介（SSK）が、オープンから2年を
経過したタイミングで、運営の中で見えてきた課題や必要に対する更新を原寸大でスタディするインスタ
レーション展示です。

サインや什器のアップデートを目的としながら、会場に置かれるスタディは、完成形を示すためのもので
はなく、現場で検討を重ねるためのモックアップであり、打ち合わせ可能な模型でもあります。ゆえに、
鑑賞者は完成した空間を見るのではなく、その手前にある試行錯誤や、いまだ定まりきらない状態そのも
のを体験することになります。

いくつかの可能性を空間のなかに仮置きすることで更新の過程を共有しながら、この場所にどのような可
能性がありうるのかを、それぞれに想像することを目指します。会期中、展示はその都度スタディを繰り
返しながら変化していきます。ご来場をお待ちしています。

This exhibition is an installation by architect Shunsuke Kimura (SSK), who
designed the Venue, Centre for Co-Architecture Kyoto (CoAK). Now, two years
after its opening, the project takes a step back to reflect on the issues and
needs that have emerged through daily operation, and explores possible updates
at full scale.

While the aim is to rethink and update elements such as signage and display
furniture, what you see in the space are not final proposals. Instead, they
are working mock-ups—tools for ongoing discussion and testing. They function
as full-scale models that can be used for meetings and decision-making, rather
than as finished designs.

Because of this, audieces are not encountering a completed space, but rather a
moment before completion—an in-between state shaped by trial and error, where
things are still unresolved. By placing multiple possibilities temporarily
within the space, the exhibition shares the process of updating, and invites
each visitor to imagine what this place could become.

Throughout the exhibition period, the installation will continue to evolve,
changing as new studies are tested and revised.
